Arts Exchange is a weekly program for artists and members of the community interested in the creative arts to come together and learn new skills, share knowledge and gain inspiration from each other’s work.

Experienced tutors will offer fortnightly workshops across a wide variety of artistic mediums including drawing, singing and sculpture. In the alternative weeks participants will work on their own project, drawing inspiration and support from other artists in the group.

Arts Exchange is suitable for artists of all ages and mediums. Materials will be supplied for the workshops, however artists should provide materials for their own project.

Playing Field Studio stresses that the  program is aimed at people who do not have established creative networks or are looking to start a creative project. The cost is minimal so the program can remain open to everyone, regardless of income. Experienced artists will run the workshops so artists can learn new skills and experiment across new art forms.

“Arts Exchange”, Playing Field Studio, 2 Kingsley Street (cnr Barry Drive), Acton, 10am to noon, August 9-September 27, cost: $50 (for eight weeks). Bookings to playingfieldstudio@gmail.com or 0413 556328
