Man caught ‘upskirting’ at interchange

A 46 year old Queanbeyan man has been questioned after he allegedly used a mobile phone to take photos up women’s skirts at the Civic Bus Interchange yesterday.

Around 6.50pm, police attended the interchange where an ACTION bus driver had identified a male performing the indecent act.

Police spoke to the man, who consented to being interviewed at City Police Station. The man produced a camera which contained several images.

He was later released pending further enquiries by police.

Anyone who may have witnessed this indecent behaviour, or believes she is a victim of this offence, should to report the matter to Police Operations on 131-444.
