POLICE are investigating the stabbing of a man at a Belconnen take away store this morning.
At 7.07am, police received a call that a man at the premises was bleeding from the abdomen.
Police found the man inside with stab wounds to his chest and abdomen. ACT Ambulance Service attended and the injured male was taken to The Canberra Hospital for surgery.
ACT Policing Belconnen Patrol, AFP Forensics and Specialist Response Group Dog team members responded to the incident. ACT Policing’s Criminal Investigations are conducting an investigation.
