AS the holiday season sets in, “Tunes on Thursdays” at the Australian National Botanic Gardens is slowly winding up.
Part of the successful IMB Sunset Cinema program at the gardens, it still has a couple of weeks ago. This Thursday, December 12, local band the Burley Griffin will perform.
On Thursday, Dec 19, it’ll be four piece Canberra band, Nova Scotia, considered to be at the forefront of the Indie revival in the ACT.
The popular cinema program finally closes just before Christmas on Saturday, December 21, when musical entertainment will be provided by soul and blues band SAFIA before the screening of “About Time”, the sci-fi comedy starring Rachel McAdams and Domhnall Gleeson.
