Police probe suspicious carport fires

POLICE are investigating two suspicious carport fires in Red Hill early this morning. fire

Firefighters attended the scene around 3.30am after reports that two carports were on fire in Discovery Street, Red Hill.

Two carports and one car suffered significant damage as a result of the fire. A rear fence and furniture being housed under one of the carports was also damaged.

The cause of the fire is unknown.  ACT Policing are investigating the incident and AFP Forensics will be attending the scene this morning to collect evidence.
