POLICE have seized 16 cannabis plants and about 600 grams of bagged cannabis from a Wanniassa home yesterday after a tip-off from the public.
Police executed the warrant around 1pm, finding plants growing both inside and in the backyard of the premises. The cannabis has a street value of approximately $10 ,000.
Police also seized a shotgun, a replica handgun, ammunition and drug paraphernalia during the warrant.
Charges are expected to be laid once laboratory testing of the cannabis is complete.
