CONTROVERSIAL hot-air balloon sculpture, The Skywhale, will return to the skies of Canberra tomorrow morning between 7am – 9am.
The flight will be the first of two weekend appearances for the Centenary of Canberra commission, and will also make an appearance on the lawns of Questacon on Sunday, May 19.
The Centenary of Canberra team say the decision to fly will be based on safety considerations and they will notify local media at 6.15am as soon as the details of the flight are confirmed.
Skywhale watchers are advised to listen to the radio or visit canberra100.com.au for the latest information.
