Vikings stage fitness event for Vinnies

logoON Sunday, the Vikings club group is running a four-hour Get Fit for Charity session, to raise funds for next week’s Vinnies CEO Sleepout.

Partnering up with Vikings Health and Fitness Centre, the session will run from 2pm-6pm at The Auditorium, Erindale Vikings  and feature continuous aerobic exercise classes that members of the public can attend for $15.

Anthony Hill, Vikings Group CEO, who will be participating in the Sleepout for the second year says: “Last year’s CEO Sleepout was a humbling experience, which resulted in a greater understanding gained for those who live on the fringe of our society.

“This year I enter the Vinnies CEO Sleepout with even more determination to raise funds, so that I can support the great work being undertaken by the St Vincent De Paul Society.”

People attending the Get Fit for Charity session can choose to participate in as many classes as they wish and stay for as little or as long as they desire. The afternoon will also include fitness challenges, stalls, raffles and prizes.
