YOU have only until just before midnight on Thursday to get your votes in for ‘RAW Canberra Artists.’

Across Australia, independent artists like  musicians, photographers, fashion designers, hair and makeup stylists, performing and visual artists and filmmakers, have been bringing their talents to RAW showcases and now it’s time for the RAWards 2013.

Over 700 artists have taken part in this year’s RAW showcases, not least at the Academy in Canberra. But the voting public and the VIP  judges, including our own Luke Cornish,  (ELK) are looking for just one winner in each of nine categories.

Prizes including mentorships and opportunities to work with top professionals.

Kristen Wehlow, executive director of  “RAW: natural born artists Australia”

says, “we know we have an impressive talent pool in this country and RAWards gives the public a chance to get behind artists who they think should be at the forefront of our country’s creative community”

Online voting to decide local city winners closes on Thursday,  December 5 at 11:59pm.

How to Vote:

Visit RAWartists.org/artists

Select your city from the ‘select your market’ drop down menu and the artist’s craft, then press GO! Alternatively, if you know the name of the artist you want to vote for, type their name in the search box and press GO!

Click on the artist you want to vote for, and then click on ‘VOTE’ on their profile page.

You have one vote per category each day during the voting period.
