A WARM 25C top has been forecast for Christmas Day in the Capital this year.
Early weather reports are tipping a mostly sunny, mild day with a 13C minimum and a 25C maximum, but meteorologists say the long-range forecast could change closer to the date.
Christmas Eve is predicted to be a partly cloudy day with a chance of rain and a top temperature of around 27C and an overnight low of 14C, while New Years’ Eve at this stage is predicted to reach a top of 31C.
The Bureau of Meteorology is expected to release updated weather details next week.
