22 year old Gordon man charged with three acts of indecency in Civic

A 22-year-old Gordon man was arrested following three indecent acts which occurred during the early hours of this morning in Civic (Wednesday, May 28).

Police will allege in court that the 22-year-old approached two women behind the Davey Lodge, Acton, groping one of the women, around midnight.

A couple of hours later (2.15am), the same man is alleged to have indecently assaulted a woman in McDonalds, Braddon.

About 2.40am the Gordon man is alleged to have indecently assaulted a woman at the entrance to Adina Apartments, on Northbourne Avenue, Braddon.

The man will face the ACT Magistrates Court later today charged with three counts of Act of Indecency and possessing a prohibited substance. Police will be opposing bail.

Police are urging anyone with information in relation to these three incidents or who saw a man acting suspiciously in Civic this morning to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.

Police would encourage anyone who has been indecently assaulted to report it to Police Operations on 131 444.
