Aleksandra entices in song

AFTER enticing audiences at last weekend’s “Opera by Candlelight” in the Albert Hall, Polish soprano Aleksandra Wiwala will, at the invitation of the Polish ambassador Pawe? Milewski, give one performance in the hall of  the Polish Embassy before she returns to Warsaw.

In her final Australian appearance, Wiwa?a will sing arias by Puccini & Massenet, Polish songs by Chopin, and duets with soprano Kate Rafferty by Offenbach, Delibes and Handel.

After the concert the audience will be invited to drinks with Wiwa?a on the embassy lawns.

Aleksandra Wiwa?a recital, Saturday February 22, at the Polish Embassy, Turrana St, Yarralumla. Doors open at 4.30pm, concert commences at 5pm. Bookings to carlrafferty@bigpond.com
