CIVIC’S terrifying raised cycle paths are being further expanded with Shane Rattenbury announcing the start of works on the Allara Street “Stage 3”
“The Allara Street Civic Cycle Loop section will involve installing new segregated cycle lanes on both sides of Allara Street between Bunda Street and Constitution Avenue,” Shane said.
There will be road closures while the work is undertaken.
Allara Street northbound will be closed at Nangari Street from 9.30am to 4pm Monday to Friday and 7am to 5pm on weekends, between Monday 7 April to Friday 18 April 2014.
Shane says design work is underway on the Bunda Street section which promises to be particularly exciting.
The whole project is scheduled to be completed by the end of the year.
