THAT indefatigable former Canberra director and Olivier award-winner Adam Spreadbury-Maher tells us he’s unearthed another hitherto unperformed play. Now he’s producing the late, brilliant Joe Orton’s lost first play, “Fred and Madge”, at the King’s Head Theatre in London. Readers will recall this follows his unearthing of Terence Rattigan’s forgotten stage version of “A Tale of Two Cities”.

RETURNING to Canberra for its sixth year, “Short+Sweet Canberra” presents more than 30 10-minute plays, directed and performed by Canberrans.
