Assault at the Dickson Subway

A 28-year-old Queanbeyan man has been summonsed to face court following an alleged assault outside the Subway restaurant in Dickson yesterday (Friday 23 May).

Around 11.10am police attended the Subway Restaurant following a report that a male had been assaulted.

ACT Ambulance Service attended and assessed the male who had sustained minor injuries.

The alleged offender, who had left the scene, later attended the Gungahlin Police Station where he was interviewed by police.

He will be summonsed to face the ACT Magistrates Court at a later date.

Anyone who witnessed the alleged assault and is yet to speak to police is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
