Assembly committee looking for your Mr Fluffy feedback

fluffy

THE Standing Committee on Public Accounts is calling for public submissions as part of an inquiry into the proposed Mr Fluffy bailout package.

The Standing Committee on Public Accounts (the Committee) invites written submissions, from interested organisations and individuals, to its inquiry into the proposed Appropriation (Loose-fill Asbestos Insulation Eradication) Bill 2014–15 (the Bill).

The objective of the Bill is to enable the use of funds from the Commonwealth Government’s $1 billion concessional loan to the Territory to help pay for the buy back and demolition scheme for more than 1,000 properties affected by the potentially deadly loose-fill asbestos.

You’ll have to get in quick though written submissions should be lodged by COB Wednesday November 26.

Advice on how to make a submission is available at the above link.
