TERRITORY and Municipal Services are advising that Northbound travel out of the ACT on the Barton Highway is not possible at this time.
“The ACT Government wishes to advise motorists and other road users that the Barton Highway northbound is closed at the NSW border, as a result of an accident on the highway in NSW,” a spokesperson said.
“The closure will stop northbound traffic out of the ACT. The public is advised to avoid travelling along the Barton Highway.”
UPDATE: At 2.08pm TAMS advised the road was open again.
