The show at the ACT Legislative Assembly features photographs by club members that focus on birds native to the Canberra region and members of the public are being asked to vote for their favourite picture.

“It’s terrific to have an organisation like the Canberra Ornithologists Group which is committed to raising the profile of birds in the ACT and surrounds while also working to preserve their habitats,” Ms Lawder commented, adding, “Plenty of talent will be on display and I encourage everyone to come and witness the best of Canberra’s bird photography through this exhibition.”

Canberra Ornithologists Group’s 50th anniversary exhibition, Exhibition Room,  first floor, ACT Legislative Assembly, until Saturday, July 5. All welcome.
