Birthdays galore for beautiful Italians

THERE will be yet another centenary to celebrate when beautiful Italian vehicles take over the lawns of Old Parliament House once again for Auto Italia on Sunday, March 30.

This year, the Italian vehicle display gives a nod to “100 years of Maserati” in respect to the December 1 anniversary of the luxury marque’s founding in 1914, and celebrates 50th birthdays for the achingly beautiful Maserati Mistral, the very sensible Fiat 850 and the heart-pounding Alfa Romeo Turbolare Zagato.

The cars will be all lined up for a 10am start, with the prizes awarded at 1.30pm for the bikes, 1.45pm for the scooters and 2pm for the cars.
