CARERS ACT’s new Isaacs Respite Cottage was launched on Friday by Mick Gentleman.

The cottage provides carers with a new facility to take a much-needed break, with a focus on activities for teenagers and young adults.

As well as respite, Isaacs Respite Cottage will operate much needed, enjoyable and practical programs for adolescents with disability, including:

    • All day activity clubs;

    • After school clubs; and

    • School holiday clubs.

Carers ACT now has respite cottages in both North and South Canberra.
