Cheap lunches. Beach Burrito Company

THE Beach Burrito Company is a relatively new player on City Walk where The Australian pub briefly dwelt.

With the word “CANTINA” writ large on the exterior its fast coming to be known just as “The Cantina”.

It’s a handy friendly spot to meet friends for some food and possibly some drinks.

More importantly for the purposes of this series Tuesday is $3 taco day. There’s a special of some sort most days.

Today I went for one each of chilli con carne, chipotle chicken, and pulled seasoned beef.

After ordering at the bar they bring the food to you.

Soft tacos are a messy meal, but fortunately the napkins are abundant to every table.

Each taco is no more than a couple of mouthfuls, but for $3 each you’re still getting a fine lunch for $9.

The tacos were as good as they look, light and zesty packets of flavour.

It can get very busy after 1pm but there’s usually a seat to be found somewhere.

More details are available on their website.
