Shopping centre fight sends teen to hospital

A 15-year-old boy will face the ACT Children’s Court after a serious assault left a 14-year-old boy needing reconstructive surgery.

On Friday afternoon, the 14-year-old was taken to hospital following an assault at the Canberra Centre.

Police say he will require surgery for significant injuries.

On Sunday, the 15-year-old was arrested and charged him with inflicting grievous bodily harm.
