LIBERAL Senator Zed Seselja has gleefully announced a $50,000 grant from his government to the Canberra Symphony Orchestra to put on a special Christmas show.

“The Canberra Symphony Orchestra is a highly valued arts organisation in the Canberra. They provide a wide range of music concerts and activities that provide great benefit to Canberra and the region,” Zed said.

The funding will provide for an addition to the existing 2014 season.

“I am pleased that the Coalition has recognised the key role the CSO plays in our community and an additional concert will be welcomed by Canberrans.”
