THE Supreme Court has published the sentencing of David O’Brien after he was caught in 2012 with the largest haul of cocaine in ACT history.

He was also found guilty of the unlawful confinement of his then partner, assaulting her over a period of time, and attempting to pervert the course of justice by convincing her to not give evidence against him.

Justice Burns set a non-parole period of eight years and four months, commencing 20 August 2012 and expiring on 19 December 2020, with the aggregate sentence running until 2025.
