THE ACT’s Law Reform Advisory Council has started an investigation into the operation of the local Discrimination Act.
“The Discrimination Act protects vulnerable people throughout the ACT, and affects every member of the ACT community, and we encourage everyone to have their say,” council chair Simon Rice said.
The council will be taking public submissions until 30 May.
These proceedings were kicked off at the request of Attorney-General Simon Corbell.
