About 7.25pm, members of ACT Policing’s Belconnen Patrol team executed a Drugs of Dependence Act search warrant of the residence. Police located and seized six large cannabis plants, 300 grams of dried cannabis and items of hydroponic equipment.

A 37-year-old male spoke with police at the location and will be summonsed for cultivating controlled plants and appear in the ACT Magistrates Court at a later date.

ACT Policing urges anyone with information regarding the manufacture or distribution of illicit drugs to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
