Fire at UC

Firefighters are at the scene of a fire in a building at the University of Canberra in Bruce.

Firefighters have confirmed a fire is burning on the ground floor level of Building Three at the University of Canberra at Bruce.

Crews are currently working to extinguish the fire and identify the source of the fire.

2:41 PM


The fire was quickly contained to the room it started in on the ground floor and extinguished.

ACT Fire & Rescue crews are now started to ventilate smoke from the Science Building and continue to investigate the cause.

The damage bill is unknown.
