FOUR people have been hospitalised after being exposed to hydrocarbon on an ACTEW work site in Symonston this morning.
A fifth patient is being assessed at the scene by the ACT Ambulance Service.
Several appliances from ACT Fire & Rescue were also on scene including the Hazardous Materials Unit and the Breathing Apparatus Van.
Crews from the Hazardous Materials Unit are conducting air monitoring operations.
