Firelighters are responding to a gas leak at the Kingsford Smith School, Starke Street and Hardwick Crescent, Holt.
Two pumpers and one Commander from ACT Fire & Rescue are responding to reports of a gas leak in the school gymnasium.

Gas leak has been isolated.
ACT Fire & Rescue has two fire pumpers on scene, the Hazardous Materials Unit and the Breathing Apparatus van.

No evacuations were required.
Gas technicians are on site investigating the cause of the leak.
10:30 AM
ACT Fire & Rescue has departed the scene.
Cause of gas leak was a malfunction from a heater with technicians on site working to rectify.
