THE Daily Telegraph is running categoric denials from Canberra’s erstwhile AFL team, the GWS Giants, that they’re flirting with getting disgraced former Raiders star Todd Carney to turn out for them next year.
“Absolute rubbish. Complete rumour. I don’t know where he got it, whether he made it up or what. Absolute rubbish,” said GWS CEO Dave Matthews.
