Guns found in Gowrie Ned Kelly wouldn’t have touched

ACT Policing executed a search warrant on a house in Gowrie on Wednesday morning (16 July) recovering items stolen in multiple burglaries.

About 9.45am members from Criminal Investigations Crime Targeting Team executed a Drugs of Dependence Act 1989 search warrant at a residence on Dalziel Street.

Items recovered included a firearm, two replica firearms, ammunition, substances believed to be methamphetamine and cannabis, heirloom jewellery, rare coins, tools, electrical items and motorcycle accessories.

The property is believed to be from five separate burglaries in the ACT during the months of February and March 2014.
Enquiries are ongoing with further persons of interest identified.
