POLICE suspect a fire at the Kippax Halal Markets was deliberately lit.
Around 1am on December 15, police and the fire brigade were called to the shop after smoke was seen coming from the roof cavity of the centre. It is believed the fire was started in an office area.
Police are seeking any witnesses, who may have seen people or vehicles in the area at the time, to call 1800 333000, or via act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
