ACTEWAGL has postponed planned electricity interruptions in parts of two suburbs today as temperatures head towards 39 degrees.
However a spokesperson said parts of six suburbs will continue with planned electricity interruptions affecting a total of 242 customers.
“All scheduled work will be completed as close as possible to midday, well before the hottest part of the day,” the spokesperson said.
“There is no planned electricity maintenance on Saturday 1 February and Sunday 2 February. There is one planned electricity maintenance job scheduled for Monday 3 February affecting 11 customers, with this work to be completed in the morning.”
ActewAGL will continue to provide electricity maintenance updates on their website.
