ANDREW Barr has announced the Independent Property Group Foundation will be the second charity partner for Floriade 2014.
The Foundation joins animal welfare organisation RSPCA ACT, which was announced as a charity partner last month.
Since it was launched five years ago, the Independent Property Group Foundation has distributed almost half a million dollars across the local community, with a particular focus on assisting Canberrans in their time of need.
The Foundation raises money through various fundraising activities undertaken by staff, public donations, and a portion of the fee from all property sales made by Independent Property Group.
