ACT Policing arrested a 68-year-old man last night for damaging a tyre on a car in Narrabundah in the early hours of yesterday morning (Saturday 14 June).

About 8.15pm last night, ACT Policing executed a search warrant on the man’s home. A number of evidentiary items were seized. The man was arrested and taken to Woden Police Station where he was later released.

The man will be summonsed to face the ACT Magistrates Court at a later date.

Police suspect this incident may be linked to other incidents of a similar nature in this area. Investigations are continuing.

This is the result of an ongoing police operation from April 2013.

Seems Giulia Jones took this drama personally because it affected a family member of hers.

When will Giulia put the same effort into other road-related causes and have something about the dramatic increase of hoons doing burnouts throughout Gungahlin. The place is looking a mess. Or maybe we need some of her family members living in certain areas before she demands it front page news?

I hope this prick pays for what he has done, I’ve lived in Narrabundah over over 30years and have had family and friends tyres slashed for no reason. 20years is way too long for him to get away with this. Let’s see how the blokes at AMC deal with him.

Ten years ago i had all four tyres punctured with what may have been a dart or an ice pick through the sidewall. I was working in Narrabundah at the time.
