Their program includes Corelli’s “Violin Sonata Op.5”, Australian composer Raymond Hanson’s “Idyll in d minor Op.2” and Eugène Ysaÿe’s “Poème élégiaque Op.12.”

Loveland graduated with a ‘first’ from the ANU School of Music in 2008, having studied under Susanne Powell and Geoffrey Lancaster and later completed her Masters with Powell.

In 2008 she performed Beethoven’s “4th Piano Concerto” with the National Capital Orchestra, later studying in Germany with the Silver Garburg Piano Duo. Loveland teaches piano at Canberra Girls’ Grammar School and St Clare’s College and in her private studio. In August this year she will travel to North Carolina to study with Barbara Lister-Sink, a world renowned specialist in injury-preventative keyboard technique.

Rayner began learning the violin from Mrs Margaret Moore in Albury, later studying in Canberra with Barbara Jane Gilby. She has performed at AYO Music camps, with Canberra Youth Orchestra, with the Wesley Music Scholarship program and in ‘Trio Telopea’ with her sister Emma and pianist Emily Buckley.
