Madness and mayhem in ArtSound Marathon

ARTSOUND presenters Nick Baldwin and Clinton White (also “CityNews” music critic) are fair in the middle of a 36-hour marathon.

Yes, it’s time for the ArtSound Radiothon Marathon which goes until midnight tonight, Wednesday, November 19. The pair have been indulging the public with live music, outside broadcasts, “madness, mayhem” and even a ‘sleepy time for kids’ hour.

There are rewards to be gained by sponsoring them, so White tells us, visit http://radiothon14.artsound.org.au/marathon/:

$36 (= $1 per hour of Marathon) gets you a broadcast thank you, and 1 song request.

$72 (= $2 per hour of Marathon) gets you a signed copy of the Radiothon Poster with messages from Clinton and Nick, plus 3 song requests back to back

$108 (= $3 per hour of Marathon) gets you naming rights for half an hour – you pick the theme and they give you a recording of the session

$144 (= $4 per hour of Marathon) – they name the hour after you, and you pick the theme. You can even come in and co-present the hour. They will also give you a recording of the session

$180 (= $5 per hour of Marathon) – They name the hour after you, you can request your favourite Album (within community guidelines) for them to play in its entirety and comment on (*during night hours). You can even come in and co-host for an hour, and they’ll give you a recording of the session.

$216 (=$6 per hour of Marathon) – As above ($180) PLUS Join them in the studio for dinner tonight during the Radiothon, ArtSound’s shout.
