Man left with fractured eye socket after Gungahlin assault

A MAN has been left with a fractured eye socket after he was assaulted outside a supplement store in Gungahlin yesterday evening. 

Between 6:30pm and 7:00pm the man was assaulted by two men outside the front of Elite Supplements, Gungahlin.

The victim sustained a fractured eye socket as a result of the assault.

One of the offenders was wearing a black T-shirt and black tracksuit pants, while the other was wearing a blue and white T-shirt and shorts.

Police believe there were people in the area who may have witnessed the assault.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the assault or can assist with the investigation to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or viawww.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
