Katy Gallagher in china

CHIEF Minister Gallagher, on tour in China, has announced a new scholarship for the most enthusiastic promoters of education in Canberra.

“The StudyCanberra project is a key for the government to broaden the local economy and make Canberra an international study destination. This scholarship will provide an incentive to enthusiastic Canberrans who sell the StudyCanberra message to networks of potential students overseas,” the Chief Minister said.

“Canberra’s best advocates are those who have made the move here, lived and studied here and hopefully seen the ongoing opportunities in Canberra to set up their lives here.

“The StudyCanberra scholarship, worth $19,800, to the Global Leadership Practices Program (GLPP) at the prestigious China Executive Leadership Academy Pudong (CELAP), China’s premier national leadership development institution has been established in partnership with Canberra business Yellow Edge.”
