ACCLAIMED lighting specialist Mandylights, who have worked on projects including Dubai New Year’s Eve, Australia Day in Sydney and the AAMI Park Stadium opening, have activated their designs across the four-hectare Floriade site for NightFest
There is a new Balloon Arena with hidden pockets of entertainment and the Triffid Garden promises a magical journey through the rhododendrons.
Nerang Pool features giant illuminated water lilies and the garden beds are a great visual display with a range of sound effects to add to the experience.
The ticketed twilight event returns to Commonwealth Park for the seventh year in 2014, with the program including night markets, demonstrations and live entertainment in addition to the light shows.
NightFest opens to the public on tonight and concludes on Sunday September 28. Gates are open from 6.30pm-10.30pm each evening.
