One and a half kilograms of meth seized in Nicholls

ACT Policing seized illicit drugs and cash suspected to be the proceeds of crime after executing a search warrant on a Nicholls residence on Wednesday morning (December 17).

Police executed the DODA (Drugs of Dependence Act 1989) warrant around 4.50am on Wednesday.

During the search, police located approximately 1.5 kilograms of a substance suspected to be methylamphetamine. The drugs have an estimated street value of about $500,000.

Police also seized around $30,000 in cash.

Investigations are ongoing.
