YOU have until this weekend to catch up with “Plucked,” a selection of works from the ANU School of Art 2013 Graduation Exhibition as part of Belconnen Community Services’ contribution to the Emerging Artist Support Scheme (EASS).
Each year ‘gallery@ bcs’, as part of its ‘Springboard’ series, selects four graduating artists from one department of the ANU School of Art to put together a group show.
This year they have selected four artists from the Photography and Media Arts department: Ashleigh Clayton; Tiffany Roweth; Sarah Nathan-Truesdale; and Sophie Penkethman-Young.
According to gallery director, Ben Drysdale, each artist has explored ideas of the visual image in relation to “memory, fantasy, and the ethereal, and perception”.
“Plucked,” at gallery@bcs , in Belconnen Community Centre, Swanson Court, Belconnen 9am-4:30pm Mon-Fri.
