Decades of war have left a devastating legacy in South East Asia, gallery@bcs’s Ben Drysdale says, resulting in a desperate need for landmine clearance and disability support services.

In January this year, 24 students from Griffith University participated in a photojournalism expedition to Cambodia and Laos. They documented the work of NGOs that provide these services, and the stories of both workers and landmine survivors. “A Legacy Unearthed” is the result of that documentation.

“A Legacy Unearthed”, gallery@bcs in Belconnen Community Centre, Swanson Court, Belconnen, August 11 to 22, 9am-4:30pm Monday-Friday. There will be an official opening on Wednesday August 20 at 5:30pm, all are welcome.
