WITH the recent ructions in Queanbeyan it’s no surpise to learn that the General Manager of Queanbeyan City Council, Gary Chapman, has resigned from his position.
Mr Chapman’s resignation will be effective from this Friday, 21 November 2014.
“Mr Chapman has been with Queanbeyan City Council for almost 14 years, eight of which have been in the role of General Manager. Gary Chapman has made a significant contribution to the Council and to Queanbeyan. I thank Mr Chapman for his contribution and wish him well for the future.” said Mayor Tim Overall.
Mr Hugh Percy, Acting General Manager at Queanbeyan City Council will continue in this role until a permanent appointment is made to the position by the elected Council.
