Simon wants your thoughts on learner driver training

P Plate

SIMON Corbell has kicked off an ACT Graduated Driver Licensing Scheme review and wants community input on what can be done better with P and L platers to reduce their accident rate.

“The review is looking into a range of options to improve the safety of new drivers, such as minimum supervised driving hours and passenger restrictions,” Simon said.

“It is important for the Government to seek the views of the community to determine which measures would be most effective in reducing rates of injury and death among our most at-risk group of drivers.”

The survey is available on the Time to Talk website until 30 May.
