A WANNIASSA shopping centre was evacuated last night after smoke was reported in the building.
ACT Fire & Rescue sent multiple units to the Sangster Street centre, after first alerted at about 8.48pm.
Firefighters say the source was a smoking machine in a butchers shop in the shopping centre.
Fire crews ventilated the building before allowing people back inside.
