Snow making returning to Corin Forest

THE new management at Corin Forest have announced they’re bringing back snow play at the alpine recreation area.

Corin Forest General Manager Dane Liepins said the team are looking forward to sharing a proper, white winter with visitors.

“We can’t wait to have snow on the ground. We’re opening a 2500 metre squared snow play park for families and visitors to enjoy a real winter experience,” Dane said.

“We’re starting with the park this year, and are looking to have a ski-slope going for lessons and occasional skiers over the next few winters.

“Even if you aren’t going to play in the snow the new café and home cooked menu is a great setting for lunch or coffee, it gives a winter experience you can’t find anywhere else in the region.”

Corin Forest will be open every day of the snow season (dependent on access road closures).

More information is available on their website.
