ACT Fire & Rescue have extinguished a small fire at the Downer Community Centre, Frencham Street, Downer.
Three fire pumpers, a Commander and the Breathing Apparatus (BA) Van arrived on scene to find smoke issuing from the building. Crews quickly gained access and extinguished the fire located in a storage room.
Crews were alerted to the fire by a security guard who called Triple Zero (000) at 10.38pm.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is deemed to be suspicious and the scene will be handed over to ACT Policing for investigation.
