Suspicious fire in Richardson

POLICE are asking the public to help with the investigation of a suspicious grass fire in Richardson yesterday afternoon.

fireThe small grass fire, between Monks Creek and Ashley Drive in Richardson, was reported to police at about 2.45pm on Sunday.

Firefighters extinguished the flames and declared the fire suspicious.

Due to the amount of smoke blowing across the area, police redirected traffic on Ashley Drive at the intersections of both Isabella Drive and Clift Crescent for a short time.
