Things that quietly go bump in the night

That’s what was transfixing a reader when he went to his car after dark at the back of the Canberra Centre last night. A forklift was dragging this giant, blue padded “container” across the driveway of the rear driveway entrance to the shopping mall.

Turns out it’s used to baffle the noise of, presumably after hours, jackhammering, which is probably why we’ve never heard of it. Boom-tish!
